Great Britain Julian Hendy's film "SS in Britain" describes the responsibility of the Ukrainian "Galicia" SS-division for crimes against humanity in the Second World War. In 1947 the British government granted a residence permit to all members of the division – 8,000 Ukrainians – to stay in Great Britain. 1,500 of them still live there. It has not been explained why the division was taken in, but investigations of the members who are still alive have finally begun. |
