Discover the Deutsches Historisches Museum online

23 March 2020

Our museum has been closed since 14 March 2020 due to the current situation. But you can still discover the Deutsches Historisches Museum in the comfort of your home. We would therefore like to recommend some of our available digital programmes.

Google Arts & Culture

Online exhibitions on such topics as the mass emigration of Germans to the New World in the 19th century or the history of the Zeughaus can be found in our Profile at Google Arts & Culture.

There are fascinating articles on our Blog, for example the latest information about our Humboldt exhibition and the upcoming exhibition on Hannah Arendt. Under the heading “What´s that for?” you can discover some of our special objects and their history.

On our YouTube channel you can find among many other things lectures from our symposiums on ”documenta. History / Art / Politics“ and “The Stone Cross of Cape Cross. Colonial Objects and Historical Justice“ as well as all of the episodes of HisTutorial, which queries history in a different way.
