PEOPLE BEHIND THE MUSEUM

In our video series “People behind the museum” we introduce you people from the team of Deutsches Historisches Museum and their work. Dr. Sven Lüken is curator of the collection Militaria I. The collection of Militaria I – Weapons, Armour, Military Equipment – is the oldest collection in the Deutsches Historisches Museum and closely connected with the history of the Zeughaus (“Armoury”). It comprises around 30,000 objects – from the Roman gladius (sword) to the Russian assault rifle.
