OUR PATH TO PEACE AND PROSPERITY
German-Soviet friendship thwarts all the Plans of the warmongers

1. Let us never forget the sufferings that German armies inflicted an the Soviet Union. Let us never forget that the heroic Soviet army liberated not only its own homeland but also our fatherland from the fascist barbarians.

2. It took enormous efforts an the part of Soviet citizens to heal the wounds of war. That our people should make reparations for at least a fraction of the damage caused should be apparent to all honest Germans.

3. Hitlers come and go, the German people, the German state, remains. These words of Generalissimo Stalin have been proved true. The establishment of our antifascist democratic order has created the foundations for a unified, democratic and peace-loving Germany...

4. ... while in the west of our homeland the Anglo-American and French occupying powers are, at the behest of American monopolism and with the aid of the puppets in Bonn, starting to establish a colony, an assembly point from which to launch a new war.

5. The harmony and resolution shown by the working masses in the German Democratic Republic in the struggle for peace has led to renewed evidence of the trust and friendship of the Soviet Union.

6. Facts speak clearly and every honest German knows who is the enemy and who the friend of the German people.
