On the Transformation and Usage of the German Language since the 9th Century

10 September 2022 is the Day of the German Language. Against this backdrop, Matthias Miller, director of the DHM’s library and the manuscript collection / old and valuable prints, presents six selected works that bear witness to the development of the German language.
