Berlin.Dokument - under this title, the Zeughauskino presents a monthly programme of documentary films of Berlin in chronological order. The programmes tell a mosaic-like story of the city as it has been documented in often unknown footages shot on the fringes of the commercial film industry.
The curator of the series is the author and film historian Jeanpaul Goergen, who was awarded the Kinematheksverbund's honorary prize for services to film culture and film heritage in 2023 for his Berlin programmes, among other things.
