What does Berlin sound like? What sounds and noises does the city and its inhabitants make? What can you hear during the day and what at night? Sounds of Berlin is the motto of this year's Long Night of Museums. We invite you to four short film programs of around one hour, featuring Berlin films shot between the 1930s and the fall of the Berlin Wall, all of which appeal to our ears. They take us to places near and far, confront us with everyday situations and special events, and let us hear the most diverse voices and accents. Together, they create a swirling, sometimes cacophonous collage of images and sounds: This is how Berlin sounded - in the cinema!
