Time Travel for Children
Cinema invites us to travel back in time. We see future worlds, enter distant planets and learn about societies that have been completely changed by technological inventions. We can also travel back in time, to ancient Rome or the time of the religious wars in the early 16th century. The cinema has a great affinity for travelling back in time. Accompanying the children's exhibition Dive into the Picture! about a famous Labour of the Months from Augsburg, the Zeughauskino is travelling back in time to the Middle Ages and Early Modern Period over five days. Younger film travellers are particularly welcome. The farmer's boy Trenk takes us along on his adventures, we get to know the brave robber's daughter Ronja and her friend Birk and experience how the young son of a book printer risks his life and limb so that a revolutionary letter from Martin Luther can be printed.
A reduced admission of 2.50 euros is available for children.
