Insights into exhibitions, projects, collection work and current debates on history
The collection of the Deutsches Historisches Museum contains around one million objects relating to German history: an exclusive selection of some 200 objects, some of which have never been exhibited before, can be discovered in the new exhibition “Objects. History. Stories. Reviewing the Collection”. The exhibition explores the origins of the objects from different eras and recounts their fascinating stories. The specific collecting practices of the Deutsches Historisches Museum predecessor institutions are also examined.
