Guided English Tour “Controversial Kinship. Colonial and National Socialist Violence”

The tour through the exhibition explores the debates surrounding the parallels and differences between colonial and Nazi violence. In each section, objects relating to both themes are presented – ranging from propaganda posters and works of art to everyday objects such as dolls or items of clothing – to provide a better understanding of both phenomena. The tour concludes with a joint examination of key themes such as racism and anti-Semitism, resistance and collaboration, forced labour and repression.
