Both the Zeughaus and the Pei building of the German Historical Museum can be reached without having to use stairs. All exhibition rooms are accessible through elevators suitable for wheelchairs. Wheelchairs, mobile seating and buggies for small children can be borrowed at the information stands in the Zeughaus and the Pei building.
Assistance dogs are welcome.
We offer tours through the Permanent Exhibition “German History from the Middle Ages to the Fall of the Berlin Wall” and in Temporary Exhibitions for the blind and visually impaired as well as tours in sign language, also by arrangement.
In front of the "Palais am Festungsgraben" opposite the Pei building there are two public parking spaces for the disabled.
